| 11/22/2009 Matthew and Herc visited Ashlyn Pope in the Charlotte Hospital and presented her with the Dixie Slugfest Championship Plaque, her retired #42 jersey, the team picture, and an autographed baseball. Ashlyn was very pleased to have the win dedicated to her. Ashlyn looked terrific and is healing quickly. Keep praying, she has a long and painful road ahead to recovery. Judges 6:12 |

| 11/26/2009 Thanksgiving Just a note of thanks to all of the parents, players, and coaches. All of you have made this team successful. | 8/9/2010 Congratulation on winning your first Ring tournament and showing your character in a trying contest. I was proud of your all. Also, congratulations to Matthew on his performance in the USSSA All-American Games in Orlando.
