The Program
The program is for boys and girls grades K - 7.  This is a non-competitive program with the main emphasis on having fun and learning positive life skills.  Program standings or individual statistics are not maintained. This program is for kids of all skill levels.  Players learn basic sport and life skills*, the fundamentals of various sports and  have fun!

*Life Skills are learned through our Self Discovery curriculum that is taught by our Athleaders during the first 15-20 minutes of each clinic or team practice.

Our Youth Sports program has three main areas - camps/clinics, teams and tournaments.

  • Camps/Clinics
Camps/Clinics are for beginning learners with the goal of developing sport and life skills and understanding the fundamentals of the sport - so they have the temperament and background they need before joining a team.   Clinics are generally 6 weeks and held on Saturdays.

  • Teams
Once kids have the skills and understand the fundamentals of the sport they can advance to one of our teams.  The teams are formed by grade level and/or ability level.  Our Self Discovery curriculum is taught by our Athleaders during the first 15-20 minutes of practice.

  • Tournaments
Some of the sports have tournaments - and teams/team players can advance to this.

Philosophy
Our philosophy is to provide an equal opportunity for all children to learn and develop sport and life skills, participate in team play, develop good sportsmanship and a have greater appreciation for the game in a safe, fun environment.

Our Goal
Engage community youth in a program designed to teach participants transferable life skills, provide community service, connect to a mentor, and develop healthy habits while in a safe environment through involvement in sports.

Our Mission

  1. Increase participant’s healthy habits, positive social interactions, and transferable skills in a community setting.
  2. Establish strong networking relationships with all parties involved.
  3. To have young people experience a healthy environment, supported by community mentors.
  4. Motivate and stress the benefits of how sport promotes healthy lifestyles.
  5. Showcase positive attitudes, positive self-esteem, teamwork, and empowerment for community members of all ages.
